The Problem

The Veteran’s Health Administration is overwhelmed.

During their career, a Combat Operator will experience countless physical and mental traumatic events. They often transition away from service with highly complex issues that seriously impact their day-to-day functioning in many aspects of their lives—at work, at home, at school, and in their relationships.

The VA System is overwhelmed with over five million post 9/11 veterans. There are limited resources for specialized care and a shortage of mental health providers, which has forced the VA to outsource help via community care.

Our guys are hurting and they deserve better.

20 years of combat has put a large strain on Special Operation Forces with the average number of deployments exceeding 5 for those who have served more than 10 years.

In addition to the 80% divorce rate, there is also a higher percentage of substance abuse disorders.

According to USSOCOM, the suicide rate among Combat Vets is almost 30% higher than that of the U.S. Military.

Combat Operators' code of silence and sense of duty is unsustainable and can lead to a sense of loneliness, isolation and lack of interest in activities and people they once enjoyed.

None of these statistics are new.

But the fact remains, our Operators aren’t getting the specialized help they need, and suicide rates are higher than they have ever been.
